About Scott

Scott Norby is a multi-published Denver photographer whose work has become a familiar presence at Denver Fashion Week and within the city’s fashion and ballroom communities. His images are known for their crisp, cinematic storytelling — a style shaped not only by creative instinct, but by a lifetime of seeing the world differently.
Scott spent decades facing ongoing eyesight challenges and the constant fear of blindness. For years, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and recurring retinal hemorrhages clouded his vision and altered the way he experienced color, light, and detail. In early 2023, his vision was finally restored in both eyes — a moment that changed everything. With sight returned, Scott picked up a Fujifilm camera, discovered fashion, and began creating the vibrant, expressive imagery he had always imagined but could never fully see. His story and work were later featured in FujiLove Magazine, sharing the journey of learning to “see anew” through photography.

What drives Scott today isn’t just the art itself — it’s the connection created in front of the lens. He loves working with people who care about the creative process, who show up ready to collaborate and build something meaningful. And for him, the most important moment is always the same: when someone sees their photo and lights up. Many clients see a version of themselves they’ve never seen in a mirror — confident, expressive, strong. That moment of recognition is the reason he continues to shoot.
After years embedded in the fashion world, Scott now brings that experience back to his community. Whether someone is booking a simple headshot, a portrait session, or a résumé introduction video, he wants them to feel what it’s like to be photographed in a space designed with intention — an atmosphere where anyone, not just models and designers, can experience the creativity and refinement of a fashion-inspired photo shoot. His studio in Old Littleton is crafted as an artistic environment filled with light, color, and character, designed to help people feel confident, comfortable, and seen.
Scott’s mission is simple:
to create images that reveal something meaningful in people — and to offer an elevated, fashion-influenced experience to anyone who steps in front of his camera.
